All women love a beauty product, however giving cosmetics as gifts can be complicated, we all have different skin tones, wear a range of specific colours and use certain brands. Therefore, make-up gifts are rarely used and often left at the back of make-up drawers. 1. Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Or, this is a multi-use oil with flecks of gold, adding shine to hair, body and face. It is such a versatile product, I lather it into my hair as an overnight hair treatment, or slick it onto my arms and shoulders when going out, for an instance shimmer. It works on all skin and all ages.
2. Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers, no woman should be without these! Curl your lashes three times (instructions on the box) and quickly apply your mascara to set the curl. An instant eye opener!
3. Mac Lipglass in Clear, the no make-up wearer can slick straight onto their lips for a natural glow, or the heavy make-up wearer can apply over a lipstick for a 'glass' lip effect.
4. Aesop Reverence Aromatique Hand Balm, smell this product and you'll fall in love, it is divine and needed by every woman over the winter months.
5. Nars The Multiple in 'Copocabana', a really versatile product, I use this on nearly every job. Apply to the tops of the cheekbones for a golden glow, or rub onto your collar bone for shimmery skin. Again, you can use it on all ages and skin types.
6. Chanel De Volume Mascara, most women wear mascara and therefore the gift of mascara is always welcomed! Especially when it is this one, a fabulous build and curl mascara making the eyelashes appear twice as long and thick.
7. Barry M Dazzle Dust 'Gold Iridescent', dust onto the eyelids for a christmas sparkle, or flick onto wet nail varnish for a glitter effect.
8. Nars Opaque Nail Polish, who doesn't love a new nail varnish? This fabulous new colour by Nars will keep your friend on trend this winter.
9. Mac Penultimate Eyeliner, this is not as versatile as my other chosen products, this is definitely for the 'Make-up Wearer' rather than the 'Natural Girl', an easy liquid eyeliner.
10. Malin + Goetz Mojito Lipbalm, my favourite lip balm this winter and all women wear or should wear a lip balm to keep the lips hydrated and healthy in the cold.
11. Chanel Bronze Universal, another product I use on most shoots, applied over make-up it adds a golden, bronzed glow, or buff onto your body for bronzed limbs.
12. Aurelia Revitalise and Glow Face Serum, all women should be wearing a serum through winter, if your friend hasn't started yet then introduce her to this one, it can be used on all skin types and ages.
